Here's the deal.

I've neglected my blog recently. I know. It's because we're moving.

I'm sure that most of you who'll be reading this are already aware. We're moving to Marietta, Ohio, which is about two and a half hours drive south of our current home. As such, most of my time over the last few weeks has been spent packing. And buying a house (huzzah!). And performing all of the multitude of tasks involved with buying a house. And arranging temporary housing, and so on, and so forth. Any time I've been able to devote to writing has gone toward my contributions at Pajiba. And so I've been absent around here. Sorry.

I start my new job on Monday, though. Being that I'll be down there by myself for a month, I anticipate filling more of my free time with writing, especially as the list of tasks to get done before the move dwindles. I'll likely be posting more personal anecdotes and updates regarding our new home in the future, so that our Cleveland friends can keep up. I'd like to continue insulting advertising, and will do so as inspiration strikes. I'll also continue to contribute to Pajiba Music and will post links as my work is posted there.

So, in a nutshell: stay tuned. For now, marvel at our lovely new home, into which we'll be moving next month.
